Roehampton Church School

We have a Church School in which we take a keen interest. A number of our young people attend there and Holy Trinity provides a weekly assembly for the children.

Roehampton Church School

History and Vision

Roehampton School is a Voluntary Aided School, and is a primary school for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 11 years.

This means that the premises were provided by a voluntary body. The founders of the School in 1828 were probably residents of the village, some of whom in 1850 “purchased the release for a Parochial School of the Church of England”.

At Roehampton Church School we aim to provide a safe, reflective and caring environment based on Christian teaching and principles. We work with all in our community to equip our children with the skills and understanding they need to make a purposeful and engaging contribution to society. To grow up feeling positive about themselves always striving to do the best they can.

The Children attend assembly and there is a Jacob’s Well cafe held in the church in the mornings for parents to relax and catch up with each other after dropping their children off at school.
