All are welcome at Holy Trinity, and money doesn’t come into it.  We all have different pressures on us. Some are better off and some are worse off.  The best thing you can bring to church is yourself, ready to worship God, to pray for others, and to be part of the church family.

Nevertheless, it is in giving that we receive.  Everything we do have is a gift from God. And it is profoundly true that the more we give the more we have, for as we give of the resources we have received, we find freedom and strength.  As we give we realise that we have something to give.

Also, from day to day, in the material reality of this fallen world, the gas bill does keep having to be paid.  Holy Trinity Roehampton does not have any long term financial assets. 

Other churches in the diocese support the clergy and some other parts of our ministry.  But for running the church day to day, it’s just us, the people of the church.

The building is beautiful and would be very expensive to build, but in financial terms it’s a very poor asset!  Nobody else pays to look after it, and it’s expensive to heart. 

The financial backbone of a mature parish church is regular planned giving.  If you think of yourself as a member of Holy Trinity, could you consider giving regularly, or increasing your regular gift?
